Busy Bee

As I sit here, drinking wine after quickly typing up my homework assignment for class that is due at midnight (wine make the words flow quickly I discovered tonight....) and after 2 days of clinical with a new group of students I can't help but smile. I am busy as hell but I freaking love it. I thrive on busyness. I have said this before but I will probably say it forever...I am a lazy bum when I don't have enough to do. Squeezing in my workout between breakfast, bills, grading papers, and reading for class before clinical instructing somehow seems more do-able then fitting in a workout on a day I have nothing to do. Strange? Yes. Do I give a rip? No.
I am also so excited because I have a few photography sessions lined up soon and this makes me feel so honored and so pumped. Yay!
As the late Steve Jobs said, "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do!" So true.
And I am also justifying this insane lifestyle by looking ahead to our trip to Florida/Georgia for Jason's best friend's wedding in a few weeks and then our big trip to South American in a month and a half. This hard work will be met by pure relaxation and fun...and probably some drunken wedding dancing if I'm lucky.
As I do my homework I usually have the TV on in the background for noise (it helps me somehow) and tonight it was the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This show is so disturbing but addicting for that very reason. Now don't get me wrong, I love clothes, make-up, and trying to look pretty but someone please come up and clock me in the face if I ever spend $25,000 on sunglasses....and brag about it. Hey go ahead and clock me in the face if I ever spend $50 on sunglasses...I will probably break them in a month anyways. I mean, seriously? I can't imagine having so much money that I lace my champagne flutes in gold and complain when my friend is late to join me on my private jet. I'm sure it would be nice to buy anything you want whenever you want...but I bet they aren't satisfied either...there's always something more expensive and more fancy to upgrade to. Ok, I am done ranting. My wine glass is almost empty so I better stop typing or I might regret it in the morning ; )
Unfortunately I don't have any new pictures to share with you today because I haven't had time to take any since I last posted. But I will say/show you two things...and then I'm downing this glass of wine and going the f*** to sleep!
I can't wait to see my crazy awesome nieces and family in Florida in November : ) I miss them and love them so much!! Watch out girls...I'm bringing my camera it's photo shoot time!!

And baby, thank you so much for being so awesome. You are ALWAYS supporting me and encouraging me to follow my dreams. I can't wait for all the fun stuff we have coming up together in the next few months. I am thankful for you the most...of course!!
